In the automotive world, the Toyota Corolla is a very iconic car model that has reached legendary status. Since its launch in 1966, it has sold over 50 million units making it the best-selling car model in world history.
For manga and anime fans, the Corolla AE86 needs no introduction because it is very synonymous with tofu shops. Now the Corolla is ready to enter the era of electric cars after the Toyota Corolla EV Concept was shown at the Japan Mobility Show.
The Toyota Corolla EV Concept maintains a compact four-door design with a design that is more in line with modern comfort. From the front, it resembles the BYD Seal with thin headlights and a horizontal RDL dominating the bumper.
Because it is still just a concept, there is no information about the number of motors, motor output, battery capacity or travel range. Toyota also refused to say whether this concept will be developed into a full-production vehicle in the near future.
