Flight simulator game fans are the group I feel is most committed to enjoying the experience of being in the cockpit of an airplane. Airplane control sticks, engine system knobs, engine power knobs and foot pedal controls costing thousands of ringgit are willing to buy to make the game session feel more realistic. This is necessary because regular controllers do not have enough buttons for the complex aircraft systems.
The Echo Aviation Controller tries to change this situation by being the first controller designed specifically for flight simulator games. In addition to the face, shoulder and standard analog buttons, it also has buttons to adjust engine power, flap position, air brakes and various other buttons needed to control the aircraft.
At a retail price of $150 (~RM 625) each, it is much cheaper than the flight controller sets released by Hori and Saitek. With Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to PS5 next month, this is an accessory for flight simulator fans who do not have enough money to buy a full controller set.
