Facebook Group Users Can Now Use Pseudonyms

Since the beginning, Facebook has been a platform that encouraged users to use their real names. But the social media landscape has changed a lot since Zuckerberg launched The Facebook. Now, Facebook Group users are finally allowed to use pseudonyms when interacting with other users.

This feature is enabled to allow users' privacy to be maintained because disputes in Groups using real names may be less pleasant. At the same time, it allows groups to function like forums, Reddit and Discord which allow the use of pseudonyms.

In addition to pseudonyms, users can also choose a secondary avatar that is different from the real account avatar. They are also only allowed to change their names every two days with the posting history still visible even after the name is changed.

If a pseudonym is used, users cannot access the Live Video feature or send messages. Although the use of pseudonyms is now allowed, this feature only needs to be enabled by the admin of each Group first.
