The new generation of Huawei Mate X7 foldable device has been launched in China recently. The device offers a better big screen experience along with more AI-based features that make daily use easier.
The device comes with an 8-inch FHD+ (2416 × 2210 pixels) Flexible LTPO OLED main display paired with a 6.49-inch FHD+ (2444 × 1080 pixels) secondary screen. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, feature 1.07 billion colors, and a peak brightness of 3000nits.
The internal hardware of the Huawei Mate X7 is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro chip with memory options of up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device also runs HarmonyOS 6.0 which offers an AI-based experience to make daily use easier. In addition, it is equipped with a 5600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and IP58/59 waterproofing.
The Huawei Mate X7 is also equipped with a 50MP main camera system with a variable aperture of F1.49–F4.0, RYYB sensor and OIS support. This is followed by a 40MP ultra-wide camera (F2.2 aperture, RYYB), a 50MP macro telephoto and a second-generation color sensor. In addition, 8MP selfie cameras are also provided on both sides of the device's screen. The Huawei Mate X7 is sold in China at a price of RMB14,999 (~RM8,742).
