Ashran Ghazi has experience in developing the local innovation ecosystem while leading MAGIC several years ago. Now, after leaving the ecosystem development arena for several years, Ashran Ghazi has been appointed to lead MRANTI (Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation) as the new CEO.
Ashran Ghazi previously founded his own company called Joota, before moving on to lead the New Entrepreneurs Foundation and Magic. After leaving MaGIC, Ashran became CEO of Dattel Asia, which focuses on big data analytics.
With this position as CEO of MRANTI, Ashran will be tasked with leading the firm in continuing to drive technological innovation in Malaysia, in addition to developing ideas into reality that have an impact on the community and industry.
