Grab Malaysia introduces GrabAssist, a special service for passengers who require mobility support and access assistance. This service focuses on the Disabled (OKU), the elderly and individuals who use mobility aids.
Through this initiative, Grab aims to provide more friendly and accessible transportation options, especially for groups that have previously been underserved. This step also demonstrates the company's commitment to ensuring that every level of society can enjoy comprehensive transportation facilities.
The service involves approximately 100 drivers who receive training from certified care providers. The training gives them skills in using equipment such as wheelchairs and other walking aids while ensuring professional support. Drivers will also be provided with a Grab Assist kit that contains a 'Flip Card' for communication purposes, making it easier for them to provide assistance more effectively.

Open the Grab app (make sure it is the latest version).
Select Advance Booking on the homepage.
Select GrabAssist in the list of services.
Set the pick-up date and time.
Confirm booking (Click ‘offers’ if there is a promotion).
GrabAssist is currently only offered in the Klang Valley with plans to expand to other cities in the future. In conjunction with this launch, Grab is also offering a promotion of RM14 for every GrabAssist ride from 3 to 17 December 2025. This offer is open to eligible customers only.
