iQOO 15 Ultra Expected to Come with Built-in Cooling Fan, Shoulder Shortcut Buttons

iQoo, Vivo's gaming subsidiary brand, is reportedly set to launch an update to its gaming smartphone, the iQOO 15 Ultra, in the first quarter of next year with an interesting update to the original iQOO 15 device.

According to Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 15 Ultra features specifications that are similar to the existing iQOO 15, complete with the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 512GB of storage.

The main difference is shown through the addition of a cooling fan for the built-in CPU component, where iQOO promises that its performance is much better, saying that it may approach two yet-to-be-launched processing chips, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the MediaTek Dimensity 9600.

Another new addition is the shoulder shortcut button that was previously shown on smart devices such as the ASUS ROG Phone and BlackShark. This feature gives advantages to certain games that make it easier for users to perform multiple inputs in games at once more comfortably.

Digital Chat Station further said that the iQOO 15 Ultra device will be launched before Chinese New Year 2026, so more information about it is expected to be revealed soon.

Recently, we have reviewed the iQOO 15 device, among the first smart devices in the Malaysian market powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor chip.
