A hacker has now claimed to have access to 2.3 million WIRED customer records. It is said that Conde Nast (publisher of WIRED) did not care about the vulnerability report, thus not focusing on the security threats to their service.
In addition to WIRED customer records, the hacker also claimed to have access to more than 40 million customer records covering various other Conde Nast brands.
Conde Nast has not yet commented on the matter. According to a rough review, it had access to customer addresses, names, phone numbers, addresses, genders and even dates of birth.
The “Have I Been Pwned” party has also updated their page with this latest data, allowing users to check if they were affected or not.
