Motorola Project Maxwell Is a Native AI Device That Wears on the Body

As leaked last week, Motorola is developing an AI device that is worn on the body. Today it was revealed as Project Maxwell which is just a concept to see how artificial intelligence (AI) devices can be used in everyday life.

It looks like a river rock with a smooth body and is also equipped with a microphone and camera. At first glance it looks like a Humane AI Pin but without a built-in projector. The AI system used is Motorola's own developed Qira. Qira can record what it sees and the surrounding audio before producing a summary that can then be reviewed.

Because it does not have a screen, Project Maxwell is controlled using voice by running LLM that understands the commands given by the user. Because Motorola Qira is used in all Motorola and Lenovo products, all actions performed using Project Maxwell are synchronized on devices with the same ecosystem.

Project Maxwell was developed to see how AI can be used in everyday use with the data collected being the basis for the development of future Motorola products.
