Xiaomi Malaysia has announced four Android version updates and six years of security patches, signaling a long-term commitment to user experience and device security. This support is being extended to all new Redmi Note 15 models, meaning every device launched yesterday will receive it.
This long-term software provides added value to users who want to use their devices for longer, making the phones more relevant as a long-term investment. However, Redmi has yet to follow Samsung's lead in offering up to six years of Android versions and security patches for their mid-range and entry-level phones.
