The Xbox app is now officially supported on all Arm-based Windows 11 PCs, allowing users to download and play games directly from the Xbox PC catalog. Additionally, according to Microsoft, over 85% of Game Pass games are now compatible with Arm with more to come.
The Prism emulator supports AVX and AVX2, allowing X86 games to be played on Arm PCs. For games that are not yet supported, they can still be streamed using Xbox Cloud Gaming. Another improvement is that the Epic Anti-Cheat (EAC) system now works on Arm PCs, allowing popular games like Gears of War: Reloaded and Fortnite to be played natively.
After more than a year of launch, video game support on Arm computers has finally improved. Despite chips like the Snapdragon X Elite being powerful, early issues with games not being able to run are the reason why many still choose PCs with X86 chips.
