Google Lyria 3 is launched as its latest music-generating generative intelligence (AI) model. Lyria 3 generates 30-second pieces of music and currently supports English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese.
Lyria 3 can generate its own lyrics and users can control the vocals, tempo and style of the generated music. Users only need to give a prompt what kind of music they want to generate or upload photos and images. Lyria 3 will continue to generate music based on the given references. In addition to music, Lyria 3 will also generate images for “album covers” using Nano Banana.
Like all AI models offered by Google, each music generated will be marked with a SnythID watermark to allow it to be identified as AI-generated. Lyria 3 is already accessible through the Gemini application in the beta phase. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers will receive higher generation limits than free users.
