The Huawei Mate80 Pro will be launched in Malaysia after almost three years of hiatus, marking the return of Huawei’s flagship series to the local market. The official promotional page has been published, and interested parties can now pre-order with a deposit of RM100.
The official launch is scheduled to take place on 12 March 2026 at 3pm. As an added attraction, Huawei is offering a 15% voucher rebate for audio products and free gifts worth up to RM2,115. This offer makes this pre-order even more attractive, thus adding value to the user experience awaiting the arrival of the Mate80 Pro.
The Huawei Mate80 Pro comes with a 6.75-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED screen and a pixel density of 460 ppi. This is matched with a memory option of 16GB RAM with 512GB internal storage. The rear camera system consists of a 50 MP Ultra Lighting main camera with F1.4–F4.0 adjustable aperture and OIS, a 40 MP ultra-wide and a 48 MP macro telephoto (OIS). The front camera has a 13 MP wide-angle resolution with video recording up to 4K.
The 5750 mAh battery supports HUAWEI SuperCharge 100W fast charging while wireless charging reaches 80W with dedicated accessories. The device also comes with an IP68/IP69 rating for protection against water and dust, and supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and runs EMUI 15.0.
