Yesterday, only the MacBook Air M5, MacBook Pro M5 and two Studio Displays were launched. Which begs the question of where the new affordable MacBook rumored to use iPhone chips will be? It is likely to be launched tonight and Apple's website accidentally revealed that it will use the MacBook Neo name.
This was discovered by @aaronp613 and it is a name that Apple has never used before. True to the Neo name, the MacBook Neo is a new class of laptop with a chip that has been used in the iPhone. It will make it easier for users to distinguish between the three classes of MacBooks that will be offered in the future.
The MacBook Air is marketed as a laptop for light tasks but still equipped with the ability to run common applications. The MacBook Pro is for professional use such as content producers, 3D animators and AI researchers.
The MacBook Neo may be classified as a light-duty laptop for those who want to tame their MacBook just like the iPhone 17e which was just updated two days ago. It will also have a more casual image with rumors saying that it will be offered in a variety of cheerful colors.
