Along with the announcement of Tecno OneLeap technology at the Mobile World Congress 2026, Tecno also unveiled its latest tablet, the Tecno MegaPad 2, and two new smart accessories, the Tecno Watch GT 1S smartwatch and the Tecno FreeHear 2 TWS earphones.
Starting with the Tecno MegaPad 2, not much is officially known about the tablet at the moment. It is an 11.5-inch tablet with a 2.5K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, and runs the Android operating system in a 6.6mm thin frame. The specifications of the CPU, memory, and storage components have not been announced yet.
It is also the first product to integrate the newly introduced Tecno OneLeap ecosystem technology, and houses several AI functions such as AI Problem Solving for children's learning purposes. AI Translation, one of OpenLeap’s functions, allows the tablet to translate 140 languages in real-time audio and text, allowing you to quickly understand the gist of text content and conversations via video or teleconference.
The next product is the Tecno Watch GT 1S, which is said to be Tecno’s first flagship smartwatch. It combines precise tracking, health monitoring capabilities and AI Watch Face features. Powered by a L1 + L5 GPS system and advanced motion sensors, Tecno says it has stable tracking capabilities across urban and remote environments.
It also houses comprehensive health monitoring capabilities, including heart rate, blood oxygen, pressure and sleep. The smartwatch also has a battery life of up to 15 days on a full charge and 5ATM water resistance ensures reliable use across work, fitness and outdoor activities.
The AI Watch Face function allows users to create unique watch faces using their own photos, which gives this smartwatch a bit of uniqueness.
The Tecno FreeHear 2 is their latest earphone that now comes with the C-bridge design that was previously introduced through the Huawei FreeClip. This earphone houses two 10.8mm audio drivers and comes with a weight of only 5.4g for one part of this earphone.
The advantage of this earphone offered by Tecno is that it is also part of the OneLeap ecosystem, allowing it to be connected to three Tecno devices at once, along with a battery life of 46 hours on a single charge.
Tecno says that the Tecno MegaPad 2 tablet, Tecno Tecno Watch GT 1S smartwatch and Tecno FreeHear 2 earphones will be introduced in selected markets around the first and second quarters of this year at prices to be determined later.
