Not Wearing Headphones Can Get Passengers Banned by United Airlines

My must-have accessory when boarding a plane is headphones or earphones to filter out the noisy engine noise. This is especially true on a transcontinental flight that takes more than 12 hours. But there are people who do not use headphones and watch videos loudly on the plane. If this is done on a United Airlines plane, the passenger can be banned by the company.

At the end of February, United Airlines updated the guidelines that passengers must follow. Listening to music or watching videos loudly without using headphones or earphones can be punished by being banned from using United Airlines services for a while or forever.

Passengers who refuse to end a voice or video call after the plane's cabin door closes can also be subject to the same penalty. In the same guidelines, not wearing shoes or clothing that is considered inappropriate can also cause passengers to be prevented from boarding the plane. If there is chaos and flight operations are disrupted, passengers will have to pay compensation to United Airlines.

In short, be a prudent passenger. Headphones and earphones with ANC are increasingly affordable. There's no need to watch videos or music loudly on the plane like you would in your own living room.
