Those who have been following the developments will surely know that the Coros Pace 4 was launched around December last year. However, now, it comes with a new, fresher and more modern option through the Coros Pace 4 Black Crystal.
This new model uses a 6000 series aluminum bezel with a thin protective layer on the metal surface of the watch that serves to protect against sweat and scratches. The watch strap connector has also been redesigned with a two-tone injection technique to create a layered transparent look. In simple terms, the two-tone injection technique is a manufacturing method where two materials or colors are simultaneously inserted into the mold.
As a result, parts of the watch such as the strap connector will appear as if they have a transparent layer with a layered effect. Despite looking more premium, this watch is still lightweight at around 33g with a nylon strap. Meanwhile, the silicone strap comes with a new pattern design that is stronger and more durable, making it suitable for long-term use.
The watch display uses a 1.2″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390 × 390 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a new heart rate sensor while offering running modes such as Checkpoint, Back-To-Start and Deviation Alert. In addition, users can track sleep, HRV, recovery time and various other data via the COROS application. It also comes with built-in microphone support that allows voice commands, notes and Voice Pins to be used more easily.
