Singaporean Man Arrested for Leaking The Last Airbender

On April 16, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender was uploaded to X-rated sites by a user. The film, which was supposed to be exclusively released on Paramount+, was stolen before being illegally distributed on social media and piracy platforms.

A 26-year-old Singaporean man has been arrested in Singapore for allegedly stealing The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender from a media browser after illegally accessing it. He faces a fine of SGD 50,000 or up to 7 years in prison if convicted.

During his arrest, police seized several of his devices and found a stolen copy of the film inside. Although the film has been fully leaked, many fans are still urging Paramount to release it in theaters and not just on streaming platforms.

The film will follow Aang's journey several years after the end of The Last Airbender animated series, with all the main characters now adults. It stars Dave Bautista, and Steven Yeun with the film originally announced for release in 2021.
