Dyson has just launched the Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer, a compact-sized hair dryer designed to be easily carried in a handbag and safely used anywhere.
This model comes with a design that is 32% lighter and 25% smaller than the previous generation. Despite being small, it still maintains intelligent heat control technology that precisely controls the temperature to protect hair from excessive heat. This technology also helps produce hair up to 138% more shine because the air temperature is measured more than 100 times per second, ensuring that the health of the hair is always maintained.
The Supersonic Travel is equipped with Automatic Voltage Adaptation, which allows it to adapt to the electrical standard wherever the user is. Dyson emphasizes that full performance is still maintained regardless of location. In addition, it is the company's only hair dryer that supports accessory sharing with the Dyson Supersonic and Supersonic Nural models, making it more flexible for users' favorite hairstyles.
Air Multiplier technology with a 110,000rpm motor is capable of producing a powerful airflow. It is also equipped with a ‘Smoothing Nozzle’ that works to gently dry hair to reduce frizz. Meanwhile, Dyson emphasizes its commitment to hair and scalp science through in-depth research into the effects of excessive heat on the scalp’s sensitivity to changes in temperature and humidity during travel.
The Supersonic Travel will be offered with the Styling Concentrator Attachment at a price of USD 299.99 (RM1,186) in selected markets starting 20 April 2026 with a launch in Malaysia to follow at a later date.
