Earlier this year, Intel introduced the Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” series of thin and light laptop processors that come with greater processing power combined with very long battery life.
Today, Intel Malaysia has announced that laptop models powered by the Intel Core Ultra 300 processor series will enter the local market in large numbers in the near future.
For this processor series, Intel has introduced up to 14 processor chip SKUs consisting of the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H which comes with 16 physical cores to the Intel Core Ultra 5 322 which has 6 physical cores.
Another new introduction is Intel’s latest graphics processing chips, namely the Intel Arc B390 and Intel Arc Pro B390 which come with 12 Intel Xe3 graphics cores, which is an update to the Intel Battlemage graphics architecture introduced last year. In contrast, the Lunar Lake series of chips comes with eight Intel Xe2 cores.
Brands like Acer have recently shown off the Acer Swift Go 16 AI and Acer Swift Edge 14 AI laptops, and ASUS has also shown off laptops like the ASUS ZenBook Duo and ASUS ZenBook S14 powered by the Intel Core Ultra 300 series of processors and are already available in the local market.
