Last January, Google Personal Intelligence was launched in the United States, using Gmail data, YouTube usage, Google Photos image storage and Google search results to display more accurate and personalized search answers for users. Today, Personal Intelligence is finally available in Malaysia for Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra customers.
With this feature, it allows users to get a variety of answers based on their own context. For example, if you want to go on vacation to Penang, Personal Intelligence can look up hotel emails that have been booked or favorite vacation locations based on your Photos location history and Search searches. The answers in Gemini will then reflect the user's personal preferences.
If you are a car owner, you can ask what car tires are best and it will know what car you drive based on various personal information collected. The search will be more accurate without the user having to enter detailed input on what to search for.
With Personal Intelligence now available in Malaysia, it opens the door to the AI agent feature on the Google Pixel 10 series and Samsung Galaxy S26 which has only been offered to customers in the United States and South Korea.
To enable Personal Intelligence, go to the Gemini app, open Settings and select Personal Intelligence. Select the apps you want to connect to via the Connected Apps option.
