It is not just an upgrade in specifications but emphasizes how an affordable premium smartphone can offer quality on par with other flagship devices.

Usage Experience
This year, Honor is seen to have ditched the curved screen used on last year's model and replaced it with a fully boxy design. Despite this, the Honor 600 Pro still manages to maintain a premium finish. This is also supported by the combination of plastic finishes on the front and back that are completely flat. In addition, the rounded metal frame on all sides adds a neat and premium feel to the overall design.
From my own experience, the Honor 600 Pro is a large-sized device. However, it feels easier to handle because it is equipped with a screen that is designed completely flat. The use of a metal frame also makes it lighter and more comfortable to hold. The usage experience can also be praised because it is easy to store in a pocket, small bag or used casually without causing any awkwardness.
The experience of holding it in the hand does not feel too boxy. In fact, it feels balanced both from the top and the entire build. This may be due to Honor's decision to completely modify the rear camera bump which now resembles the iPhone 17 Pro. However, upon closer inspection, the design is not entirely the same as one of the camera bumps has a more elongated shape.
I welcome the change in this new device because it has managed to change my perception of the camera bump design on the previous Honor 400 Pro, which looked a bit strange with its trapezoidal finish. Now, the neater design gives a balanced and pleasant image. However, this view is based solely on personal experience. I also do not attribute it to similarities to other brands because for me that is not very important.
Accepting this change does not mean that I fully agree with the concept of Honor which seems to imitate the design of competitors. However, this approach is not new as it has become a habit in the smart device industry, especially for devices manufactured in China.
Another interesting thing to note is the choice of orange color on the device. This color is so striking that it easily attracts the attention of those around, some even thought it came from another brand. This is not so surprising because if you do not look closely, the back panel does indeed look almost the same. Furthermore, the presence of a black circle and the almost similar position of the LED flash light make the similarity even more obvious.
From my experience, this aspect causes mixed feelings. On the one hand, the bold color gives it its own identity. However, on the other hand, the design similarities with other brands are quite difficult to ignore. As a result, the use of the Honor 600 Pro in this orange color is not only related to function, but also to how others react to its design.
In addition, I also welcome the choice of finish used. The matching surface feels comfortable in the hand, is not slippery, and at the same time is difficult to trap fingerprint dirt. This makes daily use more practical without having to clean the device frequently.
This time, Honor also equipped this affordable flagship device with IP68 and IP69/69K certification, which is an improvement compared to the Honor 400 Pro which previously only came with IP68/69. The Honor 600 Pro is also offered in a black color option. Although this option is not very prominent, it still looks neat and professional in line with the image that the device wants to present.
The button arrangement on the Honor 600 Pro still maintains the position that is familiar to several of their devices. On the right side there are three buttons, namely the power button, audio adjustment, and another additional camera button. Based on my experience, each button feels sturdy and comfortable to press without causing any problems.
Interestingly, the additional camera button, now better known as the AI button, now works smarter. Its presence not only adds value to the overall user experience, but also makes this device more practical for daily use.
In my opinion, the existence of the AI button on the Honor 600 Pro is an interesting addition compared to last year's model because it gives a new dimension to the way users interact with this smart device. As a result, the experience of using this device feels smoother, as if every function is within easy reach.
I also praise the construction of this AI button because it has been improved so that the pressing experience feels stronger than before. Use with a protective frame is also more recommended because the pressing experience feels stronger and easier. This makes daily use more convincing and provides additional satisfaction in every use of the device.
In terms of the audio system, my experience using the Honor 600 Pro shows that it still maintains an unbalanced stereo speaker arrangement. The sound from the bottom sounds louder while the top is quieter, something that has long been a standard feature of stereo systems on smart devices.
Furthermore, Honor this time did not collaborate with any specific audio brand, so there is no touch of collaboration like some competitors do. However, throughout my use, the sound quality produced was still sufficient for daily use. As a result, although this audio system is not the most premium, it still provides a fairly good experience for listening to music, watching videos and playing games.
In addition, tests were also conducted for the capabilities of the fingerprint and face scanning system. Interestingly, both still work quickly even when my hands are sweaty. The time taken is only about two seconds, making the unlocking experience of the device practical and reliable in daily use.
Internal Hardware – Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 Chip
The Honor 600 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 chip based on the 3nm build combined with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In terms of specifications, it is indeed in the flagship class.
However, benchmark tests show that this chip is not fully utilized compared to other competitors who are more aggressive in optimizing the processing power. Despite this, the daily use experience still feels smooth, stable and consistent, which makes this device convincing for daily tasks even though it does not reach the maximum performance level like some other premium devices.

My experience using the Honor 600 Pro feels quite adequate In terms of gaming, popular titles like Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) and Honor of Kings (HOK) run smoothly on high settings without any issues. For more demanding games like Genshin Impact, it is still playable just fine, just need to lower the settings a bit when the gaming session gets long to ensure stability.
In daily use, the Honor 600 Pro provides a smooth and consistent experience. The process of switching applications, downloading files, watching videos, chatting on messaging applications, using floating windows, transferring media via Magic Portal and using the camera all run without interruption. However, there is a tendency for the device to heat up, something that is expected from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
There is no doubt that its performance is fast, but when used for a long time, especially for heavy tasks, the temperature will increase. Despite this, the overall use still provides a stable and reassuring experience, making it suitable as a primary device for most users.
Internal Software – MagicOS 10 Based on Android 16
My comments are the same as I have stated in the previous review of the Honor 600 Lite model. The experience of using MagicOS 10 on this device feels more mature with the matching Android 16 which makes the interface support simple and user-friendly. It is easy to use without feeling overloaded, thus providing a more comfortable and consistent experience for daily use.
The translucent design of the lock screen, desktop, icons and weather info gives a modern “Liquid Glass” touch, while the customizable clock support gives me the freedom to customize the display to my personal style. It’s no surprise that the “Liquid Glass” concept is used here as most of the latest device interfaces on the market today also provide a similar experience.
I also found that most of the AI functions provided actually help in improving daily efficiency. Even if I don’t use them all the time, they are still useful when needed. For example, AI Screen Recommendations helps provide smart summaries and suggestions based on current content, while AI Content Creation makes it easy for me to create something with just one tap without having to go through many steps.
In the image editing process, AI Photo Agent gives me full control and makes the process more free and easy to control. I can also access this feature via the AI Button alone. In addition, Magic Portal facilitates quick access with one-handed control and is easier to use. In addition, Magic Sidebar helps productivity with just a simple swipe, which makes daily tasks faster when I need an application.
Not to be outdone, there is also AI Memories which allows information to be extracted directly from the screen by pressing the AI button or using a three-finger gesture. This function reminds me of the AI Mind Space offered on Oppo, Realme and OnePlus devices.
In terms of security, I found the function offered as if trying to provide additional confidence. Deepfake detection works automatically when used for video calls, thus helping to ensure visual identity is more secure. Throughout use, it provides additional confidence as it can distinguish real voices from fake ones quite convincingly, thus making the video calling experience feel more secure and safe.
In addition, HONOR Onetap makes it easy to share photos, videos and files quickly, including with iPhone or Mac. However, it requires dedicated applications such as HONOR Connect and HONOR Workstation to fully function. I just feel a little uncomfortable because using this feature requires a lot of confirmation. For me, it is a bit complicated and may cause discomfort, especially for those who are very concerned about privacy.
Finally, HONOR AI Image Master makes every photo shot stand out with better quality results. Honestly, my experience with MagicOS 16 feels complete because it not only streamlines the interface but also strengthens security and expands creativity in daily use. Although I don't rely on all these AI functions all the time, their presence is still valuable because it makes the daily experience smoother.
Camera and Image Quality
Throughout my experience using the Honor 600 Pro's camera, I found the results offered to be quite comprehensive because each mode has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The main camera is able to produce images with a wide dynamic range of colors while providing more vivid and saturated color tones. At night, light control is still good while the telephoto zoom lens manages to capture objects clearly and retain details even in low light conditions. However, the sky at night still has quite significant noise interference.

Honestly, while this feature is fun to try, I don't see the real need to create videos from photos because I prefer the authenticity of image and video recording. For me, meaningful moments are better captured by myself because they provide deeper value. However, I admit that this technology is still interesting and works well. So, if this concept suits your interests, the Honor 600 Pro provides the best way to enjoy it.
Battery And Fast Charging
The most important feature of the HONOR 600 Pro is the 7000mAh battery. This capacity is very large for a device with a thin design and has an impact on the daily usage experience. Through my regular usage such as scrolling through social media, watching YouTube, chatting on Telegram, taking photos, downloading files, and switching between apps, I can get about 6–9 hours of SOT in heavy usage before the battery needs to be recharged.
Even with intensive use, the battery remaining is usually around 10% to 20% at the end of the day. And I did most of these tests with the 120Hz refresh rate screen enabled all the time. If the routine is lighter and more relaxed, the device can last up to two days of use without any problems.

Conclusion
The Honor 600 Pro is an affordable flagship device that emphasizes a balance between performance, premium design, and battery life. With a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 chip and a large 7000mAh battery, the device tries to provide a smooth and long-lasting everyday experience. Although the processing is not fully utilized like other competitors, the performance is still sufficient for daily and everyday use. In terms of design, it feels premium in the hand although some may think that the exterior is too similar to its competitors.
So is the Honor 600 Pro worth buying? In my opinion, the answer is yes if you want solid performance, long-lasting battery and fast charging at a lower price than most flagship devices on the market. Throughout use, it certainly feels premium in the hand even though the design may not be to everyone's taste.
