The development of its own smartphone is also expected to allow OpenAI to experiment and develop various things without relying on other parties.
The smartphone is also expected to come with support for understanding users, including understanding various contexts of use by a person. However, it is not known whether many people will be comfortable sharing data with OpenAI.
According to initial reports, OpenAI is expected to produce this smartphone by 2028.
