Intel Arc G3 Chip-Powered PC Gaming Consoles Expected to Be Shown at Computex Taipei

We previously reported that Intel will be using its Panther Lake series of processors for its latest thin and light laptops to power its portable PC console options as well.

The processor series is expected to be introduced soon, but it seems that the model names have been changed from Intel Core Ultra G3 to Intel Arc G3 and Intel Arc G3 Extreme to truly differentiate the laptop and gaming console chip offerings.

According to a report by VideoCardz, another new detail that seems to be changing compared to previous reports is that the names of the graphics chips that will be used to power the CPU series have been changed to Intel Arc B390 and Intel Arc B370, which are slightly different from the previous Intel Arc B380 and Intel Arc B370.

It is currently unknown if this branding will also show any differences, especially when compared to the Arc B380 chip used in the Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 300 series of chips. But what is certain is that Intel will be showing off this series of processors at the Computex Taipei event soon, and will be present through brand partners such as Acer, GPD and especially MSI, which was the first brand to use Meteor Lake and Lunar Lake chips to power their MSI Claw consoles.
