Intel Launches Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” Processor Chips for Affordable Laptops

A few weeks ago we reported on a new processor chip series that Intel will launch for affordable laptops, namely Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake”. Intel seems to have officially introduced the processor chip series today.

In this laptop processor chip series, Intel is showing six processor chip models from the Intel Core 7 to Intel Core 3 series, including the Intel Core 7 360, Intel Core 7 350, Intel Core 5 330, Intel Core 5 320, Intel Core 5 315 and Intel Core 3 304.

All of these processor chips, except for the Intel Core 3 model, come with six physical cores, with the Intel Core 7 360 model coming with a Max Turbo Frequency speed of up to 4.8GHz. All of these chips also support up to 48GB of LPDDR5 memory and come with a TDP power consumption of 15-35W.

Intel also says that in terms of daily use, the new Intel Core Series 3 chips are seen to use significantly less battery power than the previous two generations of Intel Meteor Lake processor series.

Similar to the previously launched Intel Core Ultra 300, the cores used in the Intel Core Series 3 are built using the same Intel 18A process, making it Intel's second laptop processor series to be built entirely using its own process.

Several leading laptop brands such as Acer, ASUS, MSI, Lenovo, Honor and others have also confirmed that they will introduce new laptops using this processor.
