The MediaTek Dimensity 7450 and Dimensity 7450X chips were launched as updates to the Dimensity 7400 and 7400X. Both are entry-level chips manufactured using 4nm technology.
Both come with an 8-core CPU with a configuration of 4x Cortex-A78 2.6 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 2.0 GHz with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The AI capabilities are also 7% higher than the previous generation chips. There is support for LPDDR5 and LPPDR4x memory as well as UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1 storage. Other features include 200MP camera support, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E and 5G network up to 3.27Gbps.
The difference between the Dimensity 7450 and the Dimensity 7450X is that the Dimensity 7450X is designed for foldable screen devices with all other capabilities being in line. At this time there are still no confirmed devices that will use this chip.
