After mastering the video game graphics card sector and artificial intelligence (AI) data center, NVIDIA's next step may be to enter the arena of producing its own PCs. According to a report by SemiAccurate, NVIDIA is said to be in final negotiations to buy a large-scale PC company.
This purchase is described as changing the landscape of PCs and browsers that has not been seen since the invention of computers. It is not known which PC company NVIDIA will take over. Last year Lenovo was the world's largest PC manufacturer followed by HP, Dell, ASUS and Acer.
With NVIDIA buying a big PC company, they can start the era of N1X and N1 CPUs that they are developing with a wider market. This will put pressure on chip manufacturers Intel, AMD and Qualcomm who also offer them to PC manufacturers. The N1X and N1 chips using the Arm architecture are expected to be launched at Computex next June.
