Windows 11 PCs Can Now Skip Windows Update Process During First Activation

I've been away from Windows PCs for over five years because I can no longer put up with the various issues on Microsoft's operating system. But I still have to use Windows 11 when reviewing products and one of the things that annoys me the most is the obligation to perform Windows Update when the PC is first activated. This process takes a long time when I want to continue using a new laptop.

Today Windows 11 has been updated and after this Windows Update update can finally be skipped when a new PC is activated. The operating system update process with security patches can now be done after the first activation process is complete.

This is one of the features promised by Microsoft a few weeks ago to address the complaints of Windows 11 users who are increasingly losing patience with the various issues that have arisen over the past few months.

In addition, Microsoft also promised that Copilot in Windows will be integrated in a more meaningful and focused way. Copilot integration in applications such as Snipping Tool, Photos, Widgets, and Notepad will be reduced from now on. Widgets are also quieter by default to reduce distractions and give you control over when and how Widgets appear.

Windows 11 performance will be faster and more consistent. This is through reduced resource usage by Windows, faster app launches, and better memory efficiency. In File Explorer, faster launches along with navigation, searching, and file operations.
