Acer today launched its new Predator Helios Neo 16 gaming computer in Malaysia. It is advertised as a powerful all-round laptop with balanced internal hardware.
This laptop comes with an Intel Core i5-14450HX and Intel Core i7-14650HX CPU that supports Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0. It is also matched with a choice of GPUs either GeForce RTX 5070, RTX 5060 or GeForce RTX 5050. Furthermore, it is equipped with 16GB DDR5 SDRAM that can be upgraded up to 32GB and up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe-based internal storage with dual SSD slot support for those who need additional capacity.
The 16-inch IPS display is used supporting WQXGA+ resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time rate and 100% sRGB color coverage. The laptop also comes with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro which combines Killer Wi-Fi 6E and Killer 2.5G Ethernet for more responsive connectivity. In addition, it comes with DTS:X Ultra Audio with Hi-Res Audio standards from the Japan Audio Society (JAS), as well as Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction for clearer voice recordings.
In Malaysia, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 is priced starting at RM7,299 (i5-14450HX + RTX 5050 512GB), RM7,999 (i7-14650HX + RTX 5050 GDDR7 512GB), RM8,299 (i5-14450HX + RTX 5060 GDDR7 512GB), RM8,999 (i7-14650HX + RTX 5060 1TB) and RM9,999 (i7-14650HX + RTX 5070 1TB).
Acer is also offering an exciting promotion until 28 May 2026 with a RM200 rebate that makes all products sold at a cheaper price. It starts from RM7,099 with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 up to RM9,799 with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
