Retro games that were introduced since the 1980s to 1990s are now seen to be becoming increasingly popular again. Recently, in China, a portable game console that can run these retro games through ROM emulation has been introduced under the name Lenovo G02.
This portable console comes with a 4.5-inch IPS screen display with a resolution of 1024×768 and is powered by a Rockchip RK3326 processor chip with 1GB of memory and 4GB of storage that can be added via the use of a MicroSD card.
This console comes with the Linux operating system, and supports various types of emulator software that can be used to play various types of retro game software.
Interestingly, although it comes with Lenovo branding, this console is not designed or manufactured by the computing giant. It is a white label product that has received permission to use the company's branding on this product. Meanwhile, reports have also said that this product is only authorized to be sold under the Lenovo branding in the Chinese market.
However, this console is being sold on Ali Express, and features a relatively cheap price tag for those looking for a portable console that can run retro games.
