Before the introduction of the NVIDIA App, the NVIDIA Control Panel software was used as a way to update NVIDIA graphics card driver software, and housed various graphics card settings for about 20 years.
With the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver update, NVIDIA has also confirmed that the NVIDIA Control Panel software will no longer be supported for obtaining Game Ready and Studio Driver software updates. In fact, all NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card settings have been moved to the NVIDIA App software, and with this update, users can also change various settings of their NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards through the application.
However, for now, the NVIDIA Control Panel will still support graphics cards such as NVIDIA RTX Pro because there are some functions that have not yet been moved to the NVIDIA App.
However, NVIDIA will not delete the NVIDIA Control Panel software for those who still want to use it. The NVIDIA App software and graphics card driver software can still be updated to the latest version normally, and NVIDIA will not force users to delete the software if they still want to use the NVIDIA Control Panel.
