I use Google Calendar every day to see upcoming events that I can share with my colleagues. But Calendar has only offered 24 color options for a long time when I enter an event. As a result, when I open the app, the repetitive use of colors makes it difficult to find a specific event.
This week, Google Calendar finally received an update, and the Custom Event Colors feature finally offers 200 more color options. By default, only 24 colors are displayed in the Custom Event Colors option. Other colors can be used by tapping the new color picker icon.
With more color options, you can assign specific colors to team members in the office or differentiate between work and personal events. The update of the 200 new color options is being provided in stages through Google Workspace starting June 17.
