The Leica SL3-P is a new full frame camera that is suitable for a variety of photography. It is designed with a focus on combining high speed and clear image quality.
The camera uses a 44MP sensor with a MultiShot Mode option that can produce images up to 176MP for better detail. It also features a hybrid autofocus system with 819 focus points and can take up to 40 frames per second, suitable for capturing fast action with more precision.
The Leica SL3-P is also capable of recording video up to 8.1K at 24 fps, 5.8K Apple ProRes and 4K at 120 fps for slow motion recording. The camera offers an ISO range of 50–200,000 along with 5-axis stabilization to ensure images remain stable in a variety of conditions. The body is protected with IP54 certification which provides additional protection against splashes of water.
At the same time, the SL3-P supports Content Credentials, a feature that helps photographers prove that the images they produce are original and not generated by AI. The camera can also be connected to the Leica Fotos app via Wi-Fi 5 for remote control, is equipped with SD and CFexpress card slots, and uses a BP-SCL6 battery with a longer life of up to 383 shots according to CIPA standards.
The Leica SL3-P is offered at a starting price of RM28,160 in Malaysia for the body only. Users can also choose different lens kits according to their respective needs at different additional prices.
