With the increase in vehicles and advances in energy consumption, hybrid cars have become one of the choices of today's consumers. At the KLIMS 2026 event, it has become a tradition for MG to introduce new cars and this year they have announced the MG ZS Hybrid+. This is the third version of the MG ZS, and the second model in the ZS series announced for the local market.
The MG ZS Hybrid+ is an electric hybrid SUV in the B segment, with a 1.83 kW battery and a hybrid engine combination that produces power as high as 158kW, 465Nm of torque. As a hybrid engine, it has a petrol consumption efficiency of 4.7L / 100KM. Interestingly, the MG ZS Hybrid+ will also be assembled CKD at the EPMB workshop in Melaka, but at the moment there is no information regarding the final price.
You can also book the MG ZS Hybrid+ at the KLIMS 2026 event with a booking fee of as low as RM99. For this limited early booking, buyers will also receive 3 years of free maintenance, as well as a discount of RM 3,000.
In addition, MG also showcased the MG IM6 at this event, which is a luxury electric sedan equipped with a battery of up to 100 kWh, allowing a travel range of up to 670KM. It is seen to compete with other premium EV lineups such as the Denza Z9 GT, Hyundai Ioniq 6N, or Volvo ES90.
