Microsoft is now reportedly considering separating the video game division under their Xbox as a separate subsidiary or subsidiary.
In forming the separate subsidiary, several methods are seen to be feasible, including working with other companies to establish it, giving it independence to operate – thus leading to the convenience for the subsidiary to be sold in the future to other parties.
Xbox has recently been seen to face challenges in continuing to grow compared to other competitors such as Sony or Nintendo. Xbox console sales have also not increased much, in addition to the challenges of cloud-based games that Xbox still seems to have failed to achieve.
For now, Microsoft has not issued any comments regarding this. This new report comes after a few days ago the CEO of Xbox wanted to reset the video game division.
