Netflix has previously stated that it will offer a vertical short video viewing experience through its app, called “Clips”. Now, starting today, an update has been introduced for Netflix users in Malaysia, where the update for iPhone and Android includes this “Clips” display feature.
Through “Clips”, users are provided with access to vertical videos using clips from TV series and movies on Netflix, making it easier for users to see some interesting scenes, before deciding to continue watching them directly on Netflix, or add them to their watch list.
This move is also expected to make it easier to discover interesting works to watch on the streaming platform.
