A few days ago we reported on the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 8 laptop, a 14-inch laptop updated with Intel Wildcat Lake processor options, giving users a more affordable ThinkPad laptop option.
Recently, Lenovo has also updated the offering of another laptop model, the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 with the same processor options for the local market. The most notable difference with this model is that it offers a 16-inch IPS screen display in two options, one with a non-touch display with a 60Hz refresh rate or a touch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, both of which come with the same 1920×1200 resolution.
Similar to the previous ThinkPad E14 laptop, the ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 model comes with three CPU options, including Intel Core 3 304, Intel Core 5 315, Intel Core 5 320 and Intel Core 7 350 with DDR5 memory offerings from 8GB to 32GB and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage from 256GB to 1TB.
In terms of port options, this laptop is loaded with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A ports (1x 10Gbps, 1x 5Gbps), an HDMI port, an RJ-45 Ethernet port for wired internet connections and a 3.5mm audio port. The battery configuration is also the same, where this laptop comes with a choice of 48WHr or 64WHr batteries depending on user needs.
The Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 is now available in the Malaysian market with a starting configuration of Intel Core 5 320, 8GB of memory, 256GB of SSD storage, non-touch display and 48WHr battery at a price of RM6352.
