OnePlus Reportedly Will Exit the US and European Markets

OnePlus will completely withdraw from the US and European markets with an official announcement expected to be made this week according to a WinFuture report., This move is part of a new strategy by Oppo, OnePlus' parent company. Oppo will take over OnePlus' role in Europe.

No new OnePlus products will be offered in the US and Europe after this. Post-purchase support and updates for existing devices will continue until the end of the lifecycle. Existing stock will also be used up. Previously, OnePlus' online stores in the US and several European countries were reported to be out of stock.

OnePlus' status in other markets such as India and China is still unclear. There is speculation that OnePlus will continue as a product series under the Oppo brand, especially for affordable devices. Earlier this month, rumors emerged that the development of OxygenOS and Realme UI had been terminated with OnePlus and Realme devices using ColorOS.

The reason for the withdrawal was not disclosed but may also be due to a RAM supply crisis. It has already caused CMF and ASUS to not offer new models this year.
