Earlier today, Apple was seen filing a lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging that OpenAI had used several methods to steal Apple’s internal secrets – including asking former employees to bring relevant documents, as well as approaching Apple distributors and manufacturers with dishonest methods.
Following this, OpenAI has now issued an official comment, stating “We have no interest in other companies’ trade secrets. We remain focused on developing innovative technology that empowers users everywhere”.
With this development, we are all looking forward to further actions from both parties. OpenAI is said to be preparing to introduce their AI devices and hardware in the near future, and it is not yet known what the first device that the company will officially launch focusing on artificial intelligence will look like.
