Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today introduced his digital twin named PMX AI, a digital avatar that comes with agentic AI functions that can answer various questions from Malaysians regarding current affairs issues and provide advice on questions related to the country’s legislation.
PMX AI was developed by local digital services and artificial intelligence development company, Zetrix AI through the initiative of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat political party. According to Zetrix AI, this PMX AI avatar is trained using the writings and policy records that have been approved by Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim throughout his reign.
In fact, it is reported that PMX AI will present content and answers to various questions in his own language. As is well known, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has a unique style of speaking and debating, and this aspect will be demonstrated through PMX AI. In addition, this avatar can also understand Bahasa Malaysia, English and various dialects of speech commonly used throughout Malaysia.
Managing Director TS Wong said that PMX AI will also be constantly updated with the text of the Prime Minister's speeches and comments so that it is always aware of all the developments that have also been announced and discussed by him. Wong calls this information update a "personal knowledge model" or personal knowledge model and this ensures that PMX AI can always answer various questions of the people with the latest information.
As an AI agent, PMX AI will also reportedly come with features such as renewing government documents such as MyKad, passports and even driving licenses from the beginning of the renewal process to the payment process, making it also an easily accessible government services platform.
According to a Bloomberg report, the Prime Minister's Office has confirmed that the PMX AI avatar will be introduced in the next few days, where a launch video will also show the features and capabilities of the AI model.
