Samsung has been teasing the arrival of its latest foldable smartphone through several updates on social media today. The device is expected to be called the Galaxy Z Fold8.
After months of rumors, Samsung has finally released an official teaser image for the wide-screen foldable phone. The teaser image shared emphasizes the wider design with the use of phrases like “A New Shape” and “A Bold Stroke” as if to signal that a new, wider aspect ratio will be used.
So far, no full images have been shown, only a teaser video and early illustration images without showing the actual device. The official launch is expected to take place on July 22, 2026, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. For those who want to get the Galaxy Z Fold7, the device is still offered at the same price as before without any increase.
