WhatsApp for iOS has just added a new function called Mic Mode Controls. Through this function, users can change microphone settings directly from the call screen. Previously, options like this could only be accessed through the Control Center, which many users did not realize. Now, with this new shortcut, users can change microphone modes more easily without having to leave the WhatsApp application.
The Mic Mode function in WhatsApp for iOS offers four different options. Standard uses normal audio, Voice Isolation emphasizes the user's voice while reducing surrounding noise, Wide Spectrum allows all environmental sounds to be captured like when you are at a live event, while Automatic allows iOS to choose the best mode according to the call situation.

The difference with the function on Android is that WhatsApp has built its own noise cancellation system into its application, while for iOS WhatsApp only provides a shortcut to the existing Apple function. This feature is being rolled out in stages, so make sure to update the application first to try it out.
