Acer Malaysia today introduced a smart screen display product for the local market called the Acer CA1 FreeMove Smart Monitor. This screen display is unique compared to many Acer display offerings because it comes built with the Android 14 operating system, has a touch screen function and can be carried anywhere by pushing its wheeled base.
The Acer CA1 FreeMove display also comes with two different screen display sizes. The Acer FreeMove CA321QK model comes with a 31.5-inch display size which also comes with a 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the Acer FreeMove CA271 model comes with a 27-inch size with a Full HD resolution and the same refresh rate.
Both of these displays use a VA (Vertical Alignment) panel and have a 178-degree viewing angle, with a brightness value of 250 nits for the 31.5-inch model and 260 nits for the 27-inch model. Both displays can also be set to landscape by default, and rotated 90 degrees for portrait mode.
The Acer CA1 FreeMove is powered by Google’s Android operating system, and in terms of connectivity, users can connect their computers using an HDMI plug or use Miracast wireless connectivity to cast the display from a laptop or device to this screen display.
Acer Malaysia says that both models of the Acer CA1 FreeMove mobile smart display are already available in the local market. The Acer FreeMove CA321QK is now on sale for RM3499, while the Acer FreeMove CA271 is currently open for pre-order at RM2699.
