This morning, a video clip showing a Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) game clip was leaked to social media by a hacker using the name Cyberleek. In the video, the longer GTA 6 gameplay can finally be seen.
Among them is that the Wanted level now reaches six stars compared to only five in the previous game. Cars also have a fuel level that needs to be filled to continue driving. This has never been included in the GTA series but exists in the Mafia game.
Also leaked are several area maps that can be played along with the car garage configuration in the main character Jason's house. Mini-games such as basketball can also be accessed as they exist in GTA San Andreas. No images are included in this report because Rockstar Games is using the DMCA to force the leaked videos and images to be deleted if they do not want to be subject to legal action.
Cyberleek said the video was leaked in protest against Rockstar Games for not offering GTA 6 in the form of a physical disc. According to him, pre-orders should be for game manufacturers to print more physical discs to meet demand and not for digital games that can be purchased unlimitedly.
Rockstar Games was also asked to issue an apology and express a commitment to do better in the future.
This leaked clip is most likely a preview that will be streamed on Netflix at 3am on August 28. It will be exclusive on Netflix for 6 hours before it will be available to watch on YouTube. GTA VI will be playable starting November 19.
