Honor has begun introducing the new generation of Honor Pad 20 tablets in the global market. This series comes with two variants, namely the Honor Pad 20 and Honor Pad 20 Pro, with the Pro version being the first to be introduced in the company's tablet line.
The Honor Pad 20 Pro comes with a 12.1″ Paperlike screen with 3K resolution (3000 × 1872 pixels) with a 165Hz refresh rate, 700 nits brightness and DCI-P3 color gamut support. It is equipped with Eye Comfort technology with an eye protection layer including AI Defocus, in addition to passing TÜV Rheinland certification for an eye-friendly display. The design is 6.29mm thick with a weight of only around 537g.
The mainstay of this tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with PC Mode support which offers a desktop interface, multi-window, permanent dock and the use of a mouse and keyboard. AI functions are also enhanced through AI Memo which now supports Circle to Search, in addition to the presence of AI Writing Tools and AI Translation.
The tablet is also equipped with a 10,100 mAh battery that can last up to 72 days in standby mode, with up to 12 hours of video watching, 7 hours of gaming, and 13 hours of reading. Complementing this, the audio system with 6 speakers with HONOR Spatial Audio and DTS:X Ultra technology offers a more immersive sound experience.
The Honor Pad 20 also retains most of the same internal hardware as the Pro version including a 12.1″ screen with a Paperlike panel option, built-in AI functions and a 10,100 mAh battery. The difference lies in the support for a refresh rate of only 120Hz and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. Both Honor Pad 20 models are offered in gray color options only, while the selling price has not yet been announced. This tablet is also scheduled to make its official debut in Malaysia on 24 August 2026.
