LG and NVIDIA have now announced a collaboration, where the two parties will collaborate on the development of a humanoid robot, and is expected to be introduced as early as the first quarter of 2027.
This robot will be developed using the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform, and using the Isaac GR00T model. LG will also use their strengths across various subsidiaries including for sensors and batteries.
In addition to the development of this robot, LG will also begin using a version of the robot that uses wheeled legs to move as early as the end of this year, at LG's washing machine production plant, before expanding it to other factories.
