RHB has introduced the new Sound Box Plus payment terminal with support for debit and credit cards. It offers additional functionality compared to the previous model which only supported payments via QR.
This terminal comes with built-in NFC technology that allows users to make payments by simply touching their debit card, credit card or smartphone to the terminal. Through this technology, transactions can be made faster without having to scan QR codes or manually insert the card.
In addition, the Sound Box Plus is equipped with a built-in SIM to ensure stable network connection. It also comes with a real-time voice notification feature to confirm each successful transaction. This terminal supports card payments up to RM250, in line with the current NFC limit. For DuitNow QR transactions, the usage limit depends on the limit set by the respective bank.
