Jeff Bezos into Space, a Hard Worker Like a Horse

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has just returned from space. Apparently there are victims of the ambitions of the richest man in the world.
Jeff Bezos was able to go into space with a New Sheppard rocket from his own company Blue Origin. Money is not a problem for him. His assets are and his income is per minute. Unreliable!

But behind the success story, there is a dark side that is rarely known to others. Jeff Bezos is accused of getting rich by forcing his workers to work hard like horses.

The slanted story came out of the mouths of Amazon workers as reported by News.com Australia, seen on Wednesday (21/7/2021). One of them is the true story of Patty Hernandez (23) who works as an Amazon packer in California, USA.

Patty was pregnant young and was asked by an obstetrician to work lighter for the sake of the fetus in her womb. His job is to lift a 22 kg package from the conveyor belt for 10 hours a day.

Patty’s request was rejected by her manager and forced to work hard. As a result in October 2020, Patty had a miscarriage. The case was widely discussed by the media, but Amazon did not budge.

After that, there were a lot of stories about how Amazon employees had to work hard. Not even allowed to go to the toilet, so many Amazon warehouse workers pee on bottles of mineral water, so they don’t have to go to the toilet. Toilet away in large barn.

Targeted work is also outrageous. The Guardian in February 2020 reported a demonstration by Amazon employees targeted for checking 30 packages / minute. This means 1 packet every 2 seconds. That's crazy!

A week after the Patty Hernandez incident, the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that 4,000 Amazon employees across America depend on social assistance called food stamps. 70% of the 4,000 employees are full -time Amazon employees.

In June 2021, the U.S. tax office stated that Jeff Bezos did not pay taxes in 2007 and 2011. In fact, he once applied for a $ 4,000 tax deduction for households earning less than $ 100,000 / year.

As Jeff Bezos prides himself on his journey into space, may he be reminded of the plight of thousands of Amazon workers who work so hard that they become difficult.
