Tesla hunts down Elon Musk's disgraceful post

 


One of Tesla’s divisions, Tesla Energy, appears to have a special team whose job is to hunt down customer complaints and positions defaming their CEO Elon Musk.
Tesla Energy is a subsidiary of Tesla engaged in the environmentally friendly energy sector. One of their flagship products is solar panels for homes and industry.



In an Insider report, two former Tesla Energy employees said the company has more than 20 employees tasked with finding customer complaints on social media and reviewing websites.





Not only to resolve customer complaints, they were also ordered to ask Tesla Energy customers to delete their records.



Tesla Energy’s social media team isn’t just tasked with searching the internet to get customer complaints. The other nine -member team was tasked with specifically searching for posts on social media complaining about or defaming Elon Musk.



Another former employee who once worked as a manager at Tesla Energy said social media staff were asked to search for posts with the hashtags #TeslaEnergy, #Elon and other posts related to Tesla and Elon Musk.













Interestingly, the former Tesla Energy manager said customers can sometimes get a quicker response if they complain through social media than through official customer service channels.



One customer said he was advised by a Tesla Energy manager to complain on social media after having problems with a solar panel contract.



“He told me to go to the internet and complain ... on Twitter or Facebook, because he said the only thing the company heard was social media sentiment,” the customer said, as quoted by Gizmodo on Monday (26/7/2021 )).



Tesla Energy’s strategy is a bit strange, given that Elon Musk himself likes to tweet carelessly on Twitter. In fact, he was dragged to court for his tweets a few years ago.
