Perhaps to rest and calm down after his divorce from Melinda, Bill Gates decided to take a vacation. The country that the founder of Microsoft will go through is Turkey.
Quoted from Daily Sabah, a Turkish-based media, Gates was observed landing by private plane at Milas-Bodrum airport in the city of Bodrum. Later, he boarded a helicopter and landed on a luxury yacht named Leander.
The man who is now the fourth richest man in the world was later reported to have visited various locations in Bodrum, which is a tourist town famous for its beaches. There, he was accompanied by six unidentified friends.
Gates observed dinner at the top restaurant. The cost of dinner with a friend was USD 9,340. You can imagine how sumptuous the menu they ate there at such a high price.
Bodrum itself is famous for having many fine restaurants. Satisfied with the city, Bill Gates returned to the cruise ship and headed down the Suez Canal to an unknown location.
This is not the first time Bill Gates has visited Turkey. In 2014 while still with Melinda, Gates visited the town of Bozburn.
Prior to this holiday, Bill Gates last appeared at the annual elite Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference attended by the richest and most powerful people.
There, the Microsoft founder also discussed the issue of his divorce with Melinda which has shocked the world.
"Basically Bill Gates was referring to the fact that the divorce was his fault. He seemed quite emotional about it. He almost cried," a source quoted by Fox News said.
